FÖRETRÄDENA HOS ARABERNA
-------------------------------------

>>>
Hadithen finns bl.a. i Sahih Musiim i olika versioner.
The fact that Allah Most High has chosen the Arabs over other nations is affirmed in rigorously authenticated hadiths of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and give him peace; related by Bukhari and Muslim in their "Sahih" in the beginning of the chapter of merits, # 5897, on the authority of Wathilah ibn al-Asqa` who said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'Verily Allah has chosen Kinanah from the son of Isma`il, and He has chosen Quraysh from among Kinanah and He has chosen Hashim from among Quraysh and He has chosen me from the Bani Hashim.'"

So this hadith is a primary text about the preference of Arabs over others and the preference of some Arabs over other Arabs. And this is what the Imams have chosen from the.........of their books, and even in individual books such as the book of Qurb about the merit of Arabs, authored by the great Imam al-Hafiz Zayn al-din al-`Iraqi. And it was summarized by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Hajar al-Haytami and others.

Andra versioner av hadtihen:
“The Apostle of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said,
“Allah examined His creation and chose the children of Adam from among them; He examined the children of Adam and selected the Arabs from among them; He examined the Arabs and chose me from among them, so I was always the choicest of choices. Behold, people who love the Arabs, it is out of love for me that they love them, and those who hate the Arabs, it is out of hatred for me that they hate them."

FÖRETRÄDENA HOS QURAYSH
------------------------------------
Följande sahih hadither brukar anföras som bevis för att kalifatet tillstår Quraysh:
'Command is in Quraysh. No one opposes them but that Allah will overthrow him on his face - as long as they establish the deen.'
"This command will remain in Quraysh as long as two of them remain."

Rāfi‘ (r) reported that the Prophet (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said to ‘Umar (r),
“Gather your people for me.” He gathered them, and once they were at the door of the Prophet (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ), ‘Umar entered and said, “I’ve gathered for you my people.” The Ansār heard this and said, “Revelation has been sent down regarding the Quraysh.” People came to hear and see what would be said, so the Prophet (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) came out and stood amongst them and said, “Are there any amongst you who are not from your own selves?” They replied, “Yes, there are those who we are in alliance with, our nephews and our mawlās.” The Prophet (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said, “Our allies are from us, our nephews are from us, our mawlās are from us. O those who are listening: my friends are those amongst you with you taqwā. If you are from them then good, but if not, then be careful lest people come on the Day of Standing with good deeds whereas you come with burdens, and you are cast aside.” Then he called out and said, “O People – and he lifted his hands and placed them on the heads of the Quraysh – O People! The Quraysh are the most trustworthy people. Whoever wishes for them – and Zuhayr said, “I think he said “problems” – Allah will throw him on his face.” He said that three times.
Hasan narration, from Imām al-Bukhāri’s al-Adab al-Mufrad - http://alternativeentertainment.wordpre ... e-quraysh/
It is narrated that the Prophet (pbuh) said:
"The Quraish are a people of truth and a people of trust. Whoever tries to deviate them God shall throw him upside down on his face in the hellfire."
Reported with some variations in Ahmad ibn Hanbal's narrative no. 19015, Abd al-Razzaq's narrative no. 19897 and Ibn Abi Shaibah's narrative no. 32383. Except where otherwise specified, the selected words have been reported in Ibn Abi Shaibah's narrative no. 32383 - http://www.understanding-islam.com/rela ... sscatid=73
